Company Milestones
- 1990 – CenturionGuard® hardware developed as part of a college experiment.
- 1996 – Centurion Technologies incorporated in the State of Missouri. The Company manufactures, markets, and sells product from home of inventor.
- 1999 – Company moves to new, larger warehouse and office space to accommodate growing interest in hard drive security. Staff, revenue, and development increase.
- 2002 – Drive Disabler™, a specialized product developed in conjunction with the Gates Foundation, was invented and released. A software version of CenturionGuard®, DriveShield™ for Windows, was also introduced.
- 2003 – MacShield™ software for Macintosh OS 8, 9, and 10 was introduced.
- 2004 – CompuGuard Control Center, or CCC™, and CompuGuard CornerStone™ released, providing remote management and persistent storage functionality.
- 2005 – MacShield™ Enhanced Edition released as the premier software security for the Macintosh environment.
- 2006 – Macshield™ Universal released for the new Intel-based Macintosh environment.
- 2006 – SMART RESTART™ released as the new leader in hard drive protection for the Home User environment.
