Remote Execute

Via the CCC, you can now execute any batch file or install to connected CornerStone Clients .  This means that you can access and run OS /AV updates or even install new applications as needed.  Remote Execute can also be scheduled to completely automate your updates and installs after hours!

How it works :

1. Create a .bat file or an .exe that you want to run on one or more of your CornerStone clients and place it on the machine/computer/server running your CCC interface

2. Now select (highlight) the clients to which you want to send the file (command, update, install, etc.)

3. Under ‘Client Management' choose ‘Remote Execute'

4. Browse to the file you wish to run on the selected clients in the Remote Execute Feature's (enter any parameters at this time) browser and click to ‘open'

5. Click ‘Remote Execute' to now transfer the file to the client(s) via FTP.

6. Once the client has completed the file transfer it executes the file

7. Schedule updates or installs : To use Remote Execute in conjunction with your CCC scheduler, simply choose the Remote Execute feature in the Scheduling GUI for your Task and follow the same steps as listed above
